Colored Rollers
It doesn’t happen often but sometimes an application might call for a color other than our standard beige or white. We can supply rollers in several different colors but their diameters may be limited and may require a minimum quantity.
Grooved Rollers
We supply rollers with one or two O-ring grooves for line shaft driven conveyors. The location and width of the grooves can vary. However, if you want more grooves we may be able to help.
Heavy Duty Rollers
When the application requires a plastic roller but the loading is greater than our standard PVC tube can withstand then we do have options to go with solid or heavy wall PVC. We can supply plastic rollers with wall thicknesses up to 1”.
Hex Shaft Adapters
The hex shaft adapter slides over the 7/16” hex to provide a journal type surface for the roller’s bearing to rotate around.
Light Duty PVC Rollers
Designed for light weight products on narrow conveying surfaces. This design roller can also be supplied without the shaft.
Medium Duty PVC Rollers
Designed for live roller and gravity conveying, as well as belt return applications. This roller design can also be supplied without the shaft.
PVC Rollers w/Blind Bore Sleeve Bearing
Designed for live roller and gravity conveyor where wash downs can occur. The blind bore sleeve bearing is standard for a 1/2” stub shaft. However, we can supply 5/8” upon request. The blind bore sleeve bearing can also be used with extended pin chain attachments for roller flight applications.
Schedule 40 PVC pipe
Standard tube colors are white (W), beige (B) and gray (G). Other colors may be available especially with smaller diameters.
Series 204 / 205 StayPut Design Bearing Safety Cap
Covering an exposed rotating shaft is becoming more common as a safety precaution. Bearing manufacturers have a couple of bearing safety cap designs to cover the exposed, rotating shaft, the most common is one that snaps into place. Unfortunately, with this design, it is easy to knock the cap off accidently. Often, it is not reinstalled because it gets lost. The JPS flange bearing safety cap is secured directly to the bearing mounting hardware, which means it “stays put” until it is meant to be removed.
The JPS flange bearing safety cap is designed to fit many manufacture bearings for the particular series
